My Tooth Kept Falling out

I had extensive work done by a dentist several years ago. He did give me a beautiful smile, which is why I was surprised when I started having problems with the dental work just a couple of years later. He wanted to charge me to come back in, which I thought was wrong since it was his work that had messed up. Rather than go back to him, I decided to go to another Denver dentist that two of my friends highly recommended. I showed her the tooth that had fallen out, and she told me that it was a simple fix.

Within minutes, she had done something to glue it back inside my mouth, and I thought that was the end of it. However, about a month later, it fell out again when I was eating a piece of hard candy. I was mortified, because this is a tooth near the front of my mouth. I went back in, and she tried the same thing one more time. She did tell me that it might not work since it had already fallen out once, but that it would buy me a little bit of time so I could decide what I wanted to do.

She told me that she could rebuild the tooth, but that would involve going down into the root structure as well. I just wanted it fixed, and she assured me that this would do the job. When the tooth fell out again about another month down the road, I told her I wanted to go with the permanent fix. She was able to do that for me through a series of appointments, and I was so relieved when I was finally able to feel confident about chewing on food and candy without the worry of having my tooth fall out!
